BRCGS ha attualmente due programmi senza glutine in funzione, il programma di certificazione senza glutine (GFCP) e il modulo aggiuntivo 12: AOECS.
Nel tentativo di ridurre la duplicazione, aumentare la coerenza e continuare a offrire al mercato più opzioni di marchio, BRCGS ha lavorato con AOECS sull'equivalenza tecnica del Modulo aggiuntivo 12: AOECS e GFCP.
Di conseguenza, a partire dal 31 dicembre 2020, BRCGS non offrirà più il Modulo aggiuntivo 12: AOECS.
I siti attualmente certificati per il Modulo aggiuntivo 12: AOECS verranno trasferiti al GFCP e potranno continuare a utilizzare il marchio Crossed Grain.
Dopo il 31 dicembre 2020, i siti interessati dovranno risultare certificati a GFCP al momento dell'audit di verifica programmato.

Changes in Gluten free Programme for BRCGS Food Safety Standard
BRCGS currently has two Gluten Free Programs in operation, the Gluten-Free Certification Program (GFCP), and the Additional Module 12: AOECS. In an effort to reduce duplication, increase consistency, and continue to offer multiple trademark options to the market, BRCGS have been working with AOECS on technical equivalence of the Additional Module 12: AOECS and the GFCP.
As a result, as of December 31, 2020, BRCGS will no longer offer Additional Module 12: AOECS.
Sites that are currently certificated to Additional Module 12: AOECS will be transitioned to the GFCP and may continue to use the Crossed Grain Trademark.
After December 31, 2020, interested sites will need to be certificated to GFCP when their audit becomes due.
